oh brothers,
gimme a break,
i never had no brothers,
handshakes are strange to me.
i should like, know them you know?
i caught my lip in trampoline springs
& stomped my foot in open sewerage holes.
Peeked over the fence into a sparse park
filled with pine trees.
So i snatched up a pine cone and threw
it through my cubby house window.
i smashed the glass and slinked on back
to my lil dungeon.
I typewrote random letters to smoosh the bees
& mixed chemical potions to spike the ants.
I crushed He-man's torso in a vice.
i crushed all their torsos in that vice.
In the corner, at midnight, the horror novels in the
bookstand spoke the devil at me and it
shook me and it made me.
Grover the friendly monster stood tall in a tiny candy shop and with his mouth to the brim with razor sharps, he laughed so joyful and furious. so i threw bag of lollies at his head --- but he persisted.
I peeled a sticker from my forehead and i felt pain.
and leaped out of a window, real high up.
My sister slid down a giant wooden chute into the mouth of
a shark...in a sea-world.
