1st moleskine. by BenjaminCee 1st moleskine. by BenjaminCee
much better quality paper than the sketchbooks i've been
using most of the time... (large a4 quill books)
and a size I've never used before.
I like it!

certainly not over-rated.

I really love Moleskine as well. The paper is so nice, and it come with a nifty folder in the back! Have you seen the pocket size? They come in packs of three and are great for when you are on the go and don't have the desire to carry a bunch of stuff. Love the work, good show! The comic Waza Loo and I are doing is almost done, only a couple more pages to go!

if you buy the size smaller then the one you bought, the sketchbook one, the pages are much thicker (like cardboard basicly!). theyre super good, not very absorbent and quite expensive but they last a while yes yes

ah yes! i know, i just couldn't imagine going from a4 to teensy tiny size. i got three largies for a little over what a tiny costs but i'm pretty happy with them.,,if only they had those thicker pages...but that might cheapen the effect and soul of the original skines....

we all ate our lumpy :3

i'm a bit cautious about getting a moleskine myself, but it is tempting. i know if i did get one i would never use it and treat every page like its made of solid gold. the same thing happened to the leather bound book i bought last year, i intended on filling it full of lovelies but now i just scan the pages and use them as textures ;_;

I bought a set of three larger ones, not authentically the iconic moleskine, no, but very nice in its cream pages and smoother than usual papers. I felt i would be that precious too...but i just had to start.
I have bought SO MANY blank books and many of them are empty or half started---i feel i could fill this one, though. I draw a lot and i feel i'll move to these over my regular books. I win! we all win.

i like my crappy bootleg moleskine. it´s paper
is very thin, but has like 160 pages and costed me 3 $.
all luck with that in not loosing it! ^___^

hey, a bootleg moleskine? i would have bought one.
I bought a few in a pack, which cost a lot less in that it is actually one of the larger ones...
the paper in this is thin-ish. but usable,
i just inked a strip into it...

hm, i like to draw in it with a schoolpen, but it´s kinda glossy - not so soaky,
and you got phantom-pics when you close it on the other page. that makes it
real dirty and i like it!

i was inking a page in this one i have---with the soaky-ish pages, and it went to fine and smoothly...when i came back a few days later, the paper was suddenly waxy and nothing would take to it. ;-(
